Gregory L. West

ALBANY — Gregory L. West, 27, of East Tift Avenue, Albany, died Sunday, 
December 15, 2002, at Palmyra Medical Centers in Albany.

The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Sardis Baptist Church in Dawson 
with interment in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery in Shellman. The Rev. 
Donald Walker will officiate.

A native of Terrell County, Mr. West was a laborer for Primus Industries. He 
was a graduate of Terrell County High School in Dawson and attended New 
Beginning Holiness Church in Dawson.

Survivors include his grandmother, Ruby Goodman of Albany; eight sisters, Ozie 
Dell West, Evone Billings, Constance Coleman, Anita Edwards and Venessa 
Goodman, all of Albany, Sherlyn West of Dawson, Tracy West and LaShonda West, 
both of Valdosta; nine brothers, Robert West and Eddie West, both of Atlanta, 
Ronnie West of Bronwood, Donnie West and Nakia West, both of Dawson, Terry 
West, Riness West and Issac Goodman, all of Albany, and Derek Bell of Valdosta.

The remains of Mr. West will lie-in-state at the church Saturday evening from 3 
p.m. until the funeral hour.
