The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Parrott, GA. The Reverend Lucious Mitchell, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Parrott, GA. Josie attended the public schools of Terrell County, GA. She was a laborer. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Parrott, GA. Josie leaves to cherish her loving memories, mother, Willie Mae Whaley of Atlanta, GA; two sons, Tracey Whaley of Parrott, GA, and Ronnie Benton Jr. of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Tyneshia L. Tyler; granddaughter, Shautee Whaley and a special friend, Frank Benton, all of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Jessie Whaley and Rochester Whaley (Valerie, of Atlanta, GA and Willie B. Johnson (Veola) of McDonough, GA. A lifelong friend Joanne Telfair of Dawson, GA; four aunts, Carrie Green, Ora Brown (Johnny) and Rosa Spurlin (James), all of Albany, GA, Pinkey McClendon of Jacksonville, FL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
