Palestine Stark White 

ALBANY — The funeral service of Palestine Stark White, 87, of Valdosta formally 
of 
Albany, who died Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Lake Haven Nursing Home, will be 
conducted Saturday at 3 P.M. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Mike White will 
officiate. 

A native of Monticello, FL, Mrs. White had resided in Albany most of her life, 
before moving from Greenville, WV to Valdosta in 2000. She was a homemaker, the 
widow of Lynwood White and a member of Liberty Parkway Church of God. 

Survivors include her son, Ray White and his wife, Constance of Valdosta, GA, a 
brother, Walter B. Baker of Ringgold, GA, six grandchildren and eleven great-
grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M. at Mathews 
Funeral Home.
