Jessie Nichols Wilkerson

CUTHBERT — Jessie Nichols Wilkerson, 89, of Cuthbert, died Friday, December 27, 
2002, at her residence. The funeral service will be conducted today (Sunday) at 
3 p.m. from the graveside in East View Cemetery in Cuthbert. The Rev. Hal 
Lasseter will officiate.

Mrs. Wilkerson was born November 1, 1913, in Randolph County, daughter of the 
late Morris Nichols and Alice Giles Nichols. She was the widow of Reid Preston 
Wilkerson.

Survivors include a son, Larry Wilkerson of Cuthbert; a daughter, Linda 
Wilkerson Slappey of Blakely; a sister, Eunice Paul of Cuthbert; and four 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
