George Woods Jr.

ALBANY — George Woods Jr., 76, of Cherry Ave., died Monday, November 4, 2002, 
at his residence.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Kiokee Baptist Church 
in Terrell County. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Leon 
Pace will officiate.

A native of Worth County, Mr. Woods was a member of First Kiokee Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mable Morris Woods of Albany; two daughters, Thelma 
Davis of Newark, NJ, and Mildred James of Albany; three sisters, Nancy Dawson 
of Albany, and Ellen Jenkins and Rosa Lee Coley, both of Miami, FL; one 
brother, Tommie Lee Woods of Albany; two brothers-in-law, Lonzo Morris of 
Daytona Beach, FL, and Edker T. Jenkins of Miami, FL; three sisters-in-law, 
Betsy Morris of Daytona Beach, FL, Christine Woods and Lorine Stubbs, both of 
Albany; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
