Stevens signed 6-6-1859-Proved 7-20-1859 (He leaves his entire estate-considerable-in trust of two little girls, but does not mention relation to either.) John K Stinson, residing in Brooklyn NY but having business in New York City to draw as money from the estate as he requires to maintain and educate a certain girl child now about nine years of age named Frances Brisbane who is now, or was when I last saw her, in the town of Hingham, State of Mass, living i the famiy of David A. Kersey. Lorenzo D. Stevens of Pembroke in the County of Gennessee,New York to have same-for a little child-a girl abour 4 years of age, living with him named Josephine Scott. These two children to get whole of estate. Ex. Richard H. Clark, R.F. Lyon, James L. Durham. Codicil dated 5-8-1859 changing ex. to Isaac I T Welch, James M. Mercer and Richard H Clark. witnessed by J.W. Solomon, D. McAlphin, N.L. Davis. Both John K Stinson and Lorenzo D. Stevens accepted guardianship.
