Bruce Ayers Born 1906 Died 1909 Same type of marker as on previous grave -- probably placed at same time. Margaret A. Smith (daughter of Wesley and Nancy Smith) Born April 25, 1869 Died August 1, 1874 (Margaret shares a double marker with her sister Virginia) Virginia Smith (daughter of Wesley and Nancy Smith) Born July 26, 1862 Died March 31, 1864 The final grave is two children buried in the same grave: May Bell Stovall May Watson Ayers Born May 15, 1890 Born May 15, 1894 Died April 15, 1896 Died April 15, 1896 Interesting questions -- were they both named for the month in which they were born? Were they perhaps first cousins? How did they both happen to die on the same day in 1896? House fire? Buggy or wagon accident?
