LOCAL News

During last week, there occurred in this county near Villa Rica, a wedding 
that leads the van. Mr. W. B. Smallwood and Mrs. Sarah Thornton were the 
contracting parties, Squire Hamilton officiating. The groom is eighty-two 
years old and the bride is half that old. Truly it is never too late, even at
