                   1885          BEULAH BAPTIST CHURCH       1932

     Beulah Baptist Church is located in the lower part of Early County near 
Cedar Springs and is the most southern church within the bounds of the Bethel 
Association.  It joined the Association in 1885 at a session held with the 
Blakely Baptist Church.

     Brother R. B. Taylor was the first pastor and H. G. Anglin was clerk.  J. 
W. Anglin was the first delegate to the Association.  Its total membership was 
10.

     The pastors of Beulah Church have been as follows:  1885, to 1889 R. B. 
Taylor.  W. D. Hammock to 1893.  W. O. Crumbley in 1893.  No minutes for 1894, 
1895 and 1896.  J. G. Corley from 1897 to 1902.  T. A. Kirkland in 1902.  No  
pastor reported in 1903.  R. C. Poole to 1907.  J. E. Dykes in 1907 and 1908.  
No pastor reported in 1909.  N. G. Christopher was reported in 1910.  E. T. 
Dawson from 1911 to 1919.  No pastor reported in 1919.  The pastor not reported 
in 1920.  Z. Williams served as pastor in 1921 and 1922.  R. E. Zachert 
succeeded him and served until 1927.  W. T. Bodenhamer served as pastor in 
1927.  No pastor reported in 1928.  He was succeeded in 1929 by W. E. Browne 
who served to 1932.

     The clerks who have served Beulah Church have been as follows:  H. G. 
Anglin from 1885 to 1888; J. L. Kelly to 1902; W. W. Jernigan to 1905; J. L. 
Ricks to 1911; J. E. Hudspeth to 1918; S. A. Wright to 1921; F. G. Roberts to 
1925; W. B. Martin to date.

     The total membership is about 45.
