Butler deceased showeth that they have so far administered on said estate as to make it necessary that there should be distributors appointed to distribute and divide the same among the heirs entitled thereto and notice having been given in terms of the law to Isham L. Wilson in right of his wife Martha Wilson formerly Martha Butler, Franklin M. Pickle in right of his wife Elizabeth Pickle formerly Elizabeth Butler, the only heirs of legal age and Gamaliel W. Holmes guardian for William Butler, Samuel Butler, Joel Butler, Sarah R. and Robert T. Butler, the minor heirs of said deceased.Your petitioner therefore prays that an order may be granted appointing three or more freeholders of said county to distribute said Estate among the heirs entitled thereto in terms of the statute in said cases, made and provided by the January term of the Court 1858. Cook & Potter,attorneys Due and legal notice of the above application is hereby acknowledged and written notice waved by me as guardian of William, Samuel, Joel, Robert and Sarah R. Butler the only minors of the said deceased served January 12 1858, G.W. Holmes. Mr. Franklin S. Additional Comments: The Court of Ordinary then appointed James B. Brown, Robert W. Sheffield, James Buchanan, John Wade and W. H. Slone as distributors. Elizabeth Butler is the mother of Isham Wilson. She married John C. Butler after the death of her first husband, William Wilson. Martha is John Butler's daughter by his first wife.
