Whereas A.B. Price, Cornelia Price, and Avaleen Price minor heirs of Levi 
Price dec'd and having appeared before the Court and choosing W.R. George 
their guardian all of the three wards being over the age of fourteen years and 
having the right under the Statute to select their guardian and the said W.R. 
George appearing in Open Court and consenting to take the guardianship of said 
minors, it is therefore ordered by the court that the said W.R. George be and 
here is appointed guardian for said minors upon his giving Bond and good 
security in the sum of eight thousand dollars and taking the usual oath of 
office.

Additional Comments:
W.R. George is the uncle of the Price girls, brother of their mother Eliza 
George Price, who died in 1844.  Their father Levi is thought to have died in 
1853.  The girls lived with their grandfather, Levi George, until his death.
