Know all men by these presents that Jno. R. Barfield of said State & County 
duly constituted administrator of the Estate both of real and personal of John 
Barfield late of Jones County Georgia deceased by virtue of an order of the 
Court of Ordinary of Jones County Georgia, granted at the regular October term 
1875 (Notice of application for said order having been previously published in 
terms of the law) has this day sold the real estate hereinafter described at 
private sale as provided for in said order, to A. S. Mills of Early County 
Georgia for the sum Seventy Five ($75.00) Dollars.  Now for and in 
consideration of the sum of Seventy Five ($75.00) Dollars cash in hand paid by 
the said A. S. Mills the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged I the said 
John R. Barfield as administrator aforesaid, have granted bargained and Sold 
and do by these presents grant bargain and Sell unto the Said A. S. Mills the 
following described Real Estate to wit: all of that tract or parcel of land 
situated, lying and being in the County of Early in the State of Georgia 
designated as lot number One hundred and forty five (145) in the 26th District 
of Early County, to have and to hold the same together with all rights, 
members and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said A. S. Mills his 
heirs and assigns forever in as full and ample manner as the same was Seized, 
possessed and enjoyed by the Said John Barfield at the time of his death.  In 
witness whereof the said John R. Barfield as administrator as aforesaid has 
hereunto set his hand and affixed his Seal this 29th day of December Eighteen 
Hundred & Eighty Two.
