Fryer, Warren Nobles, of said state and county, having been presented as witness in support of the application of Daniel White for pension under the Act approved December 15th 1891, and under after being duly sworn true answers to make the following questions, deposes and answers as follows: 1. What is your name and where do you reside? H.C. Fryer and Warren Nobles Blakely, P.O. Early Co, State of Georgia 2. Are you aquainted with Daniel White, the applicant, if so how long have you known him? H.C. Fryers says 30 years- Warren Nobles says 45 years 3. Where does he reside and how long has been a resident of this state? In Early Co, Ga. As long as both witnesses have known him. 4. Do you know of his having served in the Confederate army or the Georgia Militia? How do you know this? H.C. Fryer answers that he saw him in the army hospital in Columbus, Ga on as a sick soldier and knew him before he went to the army. Warren Nobles-says that they were in the same army. 5. When, where, and in what company and regiment did he enlist? H.C. Fryer says he did not know. Warren Nobles says was in 1862 or 1863 at Macon, Ga. Capt White B Regiment Ga Reserves. 6. Were you a member of the same company and regiment? H.C. Fryer answers no. Nobles says Yes. 7. How long did he perform regular military duty, and what do you know of his service as a confed- erate soldier, and the time and circumstances of his discharge from the service? Warren Nobles answers from the time he entered the army until the surrender was paroled at the time. Both witnesses answered - It is exact in their answer- to 4th question 8. What property,effects or income has the applicant?( Give your means of knowledge) both witnesses answer none- they know from their long aquaintance with him and their knowledge of his surroundings. 9. What property, effects or income did the applicant possess in 1893 and 1894 and what disposition, if any, did he make of same? None-and after such he has been compelled to consume in his support. 10. What is the appplicant's occupation and physical condition? Farmer, he is old and infirm and not able to make a living by his own labor. 11. Is the applicant unable to support himself by labor of any sort, if so, why? He is not on account of his age and infirmitys 12. How was he supported the years 1893 and 1894? By his own labor and by consuming what little property he had. 13. What portion of his support for these two years were derived from his own labor or income? Almost, nothing. 14. Give a full and complete statement of the applicant' physical condition that entitles him to a pension under the Act of December 15th 1894? His old age and physical infir mitys which are the result of old age- and his dimming eye sight. 15. What interest have you in the recovery of a pension of this applicant? None- Sworn to and subscribed before me this the 6 day of April 1895 unknown interviewer R.W. NOBLES H.C. FRYER Additional Comments: Daniel White born 1812 in North Carolina and died 1905, lived in the Ft. Gaines Hwy area in Early County, Georgia. He was married to Sarah Esther Odom born 1829 and died 1899. They were married about 1845. They had 11 children. The names of their children were Abraham Guilford, Mary( my great grand mother),John Allen, George,Frances Rebecca,Sarah J.,Milly,Daniel Leon Jr.,Jefferson D., Charlie B. and Isabel White.
