The following gentlemen were appointed. G. B. Wardlow, Esq., Col. Joseph P. Hardee, and Col. Wm. K. DeGraffenried. The meeting then proceeded to appoint six delegates to meet a declaration from Baker county, to meet at Concord, in Baker county, on Thursday, 12th day of June next, to nominate a Senator, to represent the said Counties in the ensuing Legislature of the State of Georgia; when the following gentlemen were nominated, John McCorquedale, James B Brown, Etheldred Hays, Seaborn Hays, Burrell Roberts, and Wm. Sutton, Esqrs. The above named gentlemen, are appointed, with the right to fill vacancies if any should accrue by sickness or otherwise.
