Louise Hay Scarborough

BLAKELY 
 Louise Hay Scarborough, 81, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at Early Memorial Nursing
Home in Blakely.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Southside Baptist Church with interment in 
Pineview Cemetery. The Rev. Lee Wilson and the Rev. David Grier will officiate.

A native of Early County, Mrs. Scarborough was a homemaker and a member of Southside 
Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Carlton Scarborough Sr.; three sons, 
Edward C. Scarborough Jr. and wife, Marijane of Donalsonville, Lamar Scarborough 
of Donalsonville and Millard Scarborough and wife, Wanda of Lynn Haven, Fla.; two 
daughters, Sara S. McLain and husband, Billy of Tifton and Carole S. Barnes and 
husband, Ernest of W. Columbia, S.C.; two sisters, Lois Chandler of Tallahassee, Fla., 
and Marion Gilmore of Concord, N.C.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli David and Eugenia Lumley Hay.

Flowers will be accepted but the family prefers donations be given to the Heart 
Association, Diabetes Association or your favorite charity.
