The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church with interment in Open Pond Cemetery in Jakin. The Rev. Ervin Dailey and the Rev. Wayne Sheffield will officiate. A native of Seminole County, Mr. Thomas had lived in Blakely since 1980. He was a retired educator and a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Williams Pace of Blakely; a son, Jeffery Pace of Tucker; a sister, Doris Mueller of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; and a brother, Earl Pace of Albany. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Pace and parents, Thomas Glenn and Myrtice Catherine Tolar Pace. Visitation will be 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
