Causey Is Victim of Heart Attack Philip W. Causey, 56, well-known and highly-esteemed Early County farmer of the Hilton community, died last Friday night from a heart attack. He had been ill for several months. A native of Terrell county, Mr. Causey had been a resident of Early county for 48 years and had many friends who are saddened by his passing. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at four o'clock at the Sowhatchee church, with the Rev. W. T. Wiley officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, with Minter Funeral Home in charge and A. D. Smith, Sr., A. D. Smith, Jr., Gordon Hall, H. L. Martin, Milton Martin, and R. V. Bankston serving as pall-bearers. Surviving Mr. Causey are his wife, Mrs. Havanna Loyless Causey; three daughters, Mrs. G. W. Glass of Baconton, Ga., Mrs. Troy Johnson and Hilda Causey, both of Tilton (Hilton ?); two sons, Stanley Causey and Joseph Causey, both of Hilton; and the following brothers and sisters: Lofton Causey, Lake Alfred, Fla.; Billy Causey, Columbus, Ga.; Jim Causey, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Mrs. John Gaffney, Columbus; Mrs. Buck Johnson and Mrs. Anna Pearl Temples, both of Blakely.
