DuBose Albert Blufford DuBose, 78, of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, July 25, 1989, at Palmyra Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. Mr. DuBose was born June 17, 1911 in Early County to the late John Henry DuBose and the late Nellie Mock DuBose. He lived most of his life in Early County, and lived the past two years in Albany. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and a member of White Plains Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 27, 1989, 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Manry-Jordan Funeral Home, Interment will follow at White Plains Cemetery. Rev. Melvin Moody officiating. Pallbearers will be Jack Daniels, Bill Lofton, Bill Parker, Herman Irvin, Sonny Seagroves and Tim Jordan. Manry-Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Minnie Clyde Gilbert DuBose, Albany; three sons, Wayne DuBose and Earl G. DuBose, both of Albany, and Charles F. DuBose, Atlanta; one sister, Mary Lou Humphries, Milledgeville; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
