A native of Terrell County, she was born November 30, 1901 and had been a resident of Fort Gaines for the last year. She was a member of the Zion Free Wil Baptist Church. The funeral was held Friday afternoon in the Manry-Jordan Funeral Home Chapel, the Reverend Donald Coates officiating. Interment followed in the Blakely Cemetery. Pall bearers were Grady Loyless, Jr., Mark Tinsley, James Bonner, Don Ford, William Bonner and Herman Tinsley. Survivors are two daughters Mrs. Robert Bonner, Edison, Mrs. Juanita Clerk, Fort Gaines; son, Grady O. Loyless, Covington, Ga.; sister, Mrs. Lula Mae Johnson, Fort Gaines; 11 grandchildren, 29 great- grandchildren. Source: Early County News, March 22, 1979, Page 10.
