Curtis Hightower Loyless Curtis Hightower Loyless, 81, of Irmo, S. C., a former and long-time resident of Blakely, died Monday following a long illness. The funeral and burial rites were conducted Wednesday in Valentine, S. C. He had lived in Irmo, S. C. for the past several years. When he lived in Blakely he operated a retail store on North Main Street. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Bernice Clark Loyless, and stepson, Norman Thomas, of Irmo; two brothers, J. C. Loyless, of Blakely, and Bill Loyless of Albany, two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Jarrett, Leesburg, Ga., and Mrs. Emmie Julian, Albany. The obituary does not list the name of newspaper but written at top was a date October 16, 1980. Curtis Hightower Loyless was born 4 January 1899 and died 13 October 1980. He is buried in Blakely City Cemetery, Blakely, Early Co., GA. He was married to Bernice Clarke on 16 March 1941 in Early Co., GA Book M, Page 303.
