A. H. Lanier, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in the Blakely Cemetery, with the impressive Masonic rites. Magnolia Lodge No. 86, of which the deceased was a long-time member, was in charge. He died Thursday, October 26, at the local hospital, after a long illness. Mr. Pearl, a member of the Jewish faith, was a retired shoe salesman and was born in New York City, December 24, 1886. He had lived in Blakely for 50 years. His wife was the late Mrs. Vincie Loyless Pearl, Mr. Pearl was also a member of the local order of the Eastern Star. was a Shriner and a member of the Elks. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. John I. King; and 2 grandchildren, John David King and Chuck King, all of Dothan; brother, Charlie Pearl of Greensboro, N. C. and a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Thames of Roanoke, VA.
