The daughter of the late Carl Lanier and Clemmie Loyless Lanier, of Damascus, she was born March 26, 1914. She had lived in Atlanta for the last 17 years and was clerk with the Southern Railway for 30 years. She was a member of the Druid Hills United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Manry-Jordon Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Joe Kelly to officiate. Interment followed in the Blakely Cemetery. Pall bearers were Lynn Pullen, Lamar Billings, W. T. Dowdy, Joe Bryan, Cecil Godwin, Hal Haddock, Survivors are the widower, Clarence C. Clark, Jr. Atlanta, a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Andrews, Stockbridge; 2 sisters, Mrs. Charles Pomeroy, Albany and Mrs. Willis Pittman, Bainbridge. Source: Volume 114, Number 32.
