1853, January 17--- This Indenture made between Benjamin Gnann unto John 
Wilson, both of Effingham County.  For and in consideration of the sum of $261 
dollars, conveying all that parcel of land containing 29 acres known as the 
Middle Hill tract.  Bounded on the North by Hangliter Creek on the East by 
William Rahn, on the South by Elbert Gnann and on the West by John Wilson.
Witnesses;
        Edward W. Rahn						s/ Benj. Gnann
         James Rahn
