Kight SPRINGFIELD---Mrs. Minnie Tyson Kight, 69, died Monday night at her home. The native of Emanuel County lived in Springfield for the past 23 years. She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and of the Women's Missionary Board. Survivors are her husband, Amos G. Kight of Springfield; two daughters, Miss Ruby Kight and Mrs. Layton Sikes of Springfield; three sons, C. Murray Kight and J. Hilton Kight, of Springfield, and J. Oliff Kight of Rincon; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Trudie Lindsey of Wrightsville. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Wednesday at the Springfield Baptist Church. Leslie-Thompson Funeral Home of Springfield is in charge. Additional Comments: Minnie was born abt Sep 1898 to Joseph T. "Joe" Tyson and Millie O. Flanders Tyson. Georgia death certificate #036412.
