Rawls The many friends of Mr. L.L. Rawls in Talbotton and Talbot County, will regret to learn of his death which occurred in Guyton last Saturday morning. He had been sick for several months but was only confined to his bed for a period of three weeks previous to his death. Mr. Rawls was a son-in-law of Dr. and Mrs. J.B. McGehee of Talbotton and often visited them here. He was for many years connected with the Central railroad at Savannah and had to give up a position with them a few months ago on account of his health. Mr. Rawls was a man who made friends everywhere he went. He was well known over the entire state and has a host of friends who will be saddened by the news of his death. The funeral occurred in Guyton, the home of his youth and where he has always resided with the exception of a few years, Sunday morning in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives. In the town where he lived, he was liked by every man, woman and child and his place will be hard to fill. Mrs. Rawls and three little children will continue to make their home in Guyton.
