	Abraham III Burton, born 28 Jan 1727 in VA; died 1810 in Elbert 
Co, GA. He married  Mary Ann Harrison. On the 1787 Meckleburg Co. 
Personal Property Tax List, Abraham is listed with several slaves as 
part of his property.
 	 His will was recorded on 3 Sep 1810. In the will he leaves his son
Thomas, "four Negroes, James, Amy, Jaban and Taylor"; his daughter Dicy 
Bevil, "one feather bed and furniture and Silva"; grandaughter Dicy Tucker,
"one Negro girl named Delsey"; grandson, Abraham Burton, "one Negor girl 
named Biddy".

follows:
	Thomas Burton, died abt. 1810 in Elbert Co, GA. He married on 
18 Jul 1809 in Elbert Co, GA, Ann Brown.

Mary "Polly" Hudson [28]. 
	Dicy Burton married Bevi. 
	female Burton married  Tucker.

Amelia Co, VA. He married  Mary Bevill, born  of VA; died aft. 1772, 
daughter of Essex Bevill and Elizabeth (---).

	WILL OF ABRAHAM BURTON, 1810, Elbert Co, GA, Department of 
Archives and History.

    	I Abraham Burton of the County and the State aforesaid being in
perfect Health of body and sound memory, Do make, constitute and ordain
this my last will and testament, in manner and form to wit: 
First I recommend my Soul to God that it __ me and body to a decent
Christian burial at the digression of my executors - and as to this World's
goods, I give and bequeath unto my son, Thomas Burton four Negroes, namely,
James, Amy, Jaban and Taylor. 
     Item the second: I lend to my daughter Dicy Bevil on feather bed and
fruniture and also land her three Negroes during her natural life namely,
Lucy, Tabb and Silva, and at her death the said three Negroes, Lucy, Tabb
and Silva, with their increase (Lucy's child Dilsey) excepted, I give,
bequeath to be equally divided amongst the children of the said Dicy and
also, I lend her one Sealskin Trunk in for as above. 
     Item the third: I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Dicy
Tucker, one Negro girl named Dilsey.
     Item the fourth: I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Jenny
Burton one feather bed and furniture.
     Item the fifth: I give and bequeath unto my grand son Abraham Burton
one Negro girl name Biddy.
     Lastly I nominate and appoint my son Thomas Burton the Executor to
this my last Will and Testament this tenth day of April in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten.

     Georgia, Elbert Co, Robert Dunlap and Walter Nunnelee two of the
subscribing witnesses to within will came into open court and being duly
sworn saith that they saw the within teatator sign, seal and ___ the within
instrument to be his last will and testament, and that they together with
William Dunlap, signed the same as witness in the presence of each other
and that the said Testator then appeared to be of sound mind and diffusing
memory. Sworn in Court this 3rd day of Sep 1810. Robert Dunlap, W. Nunnelee
