Almond to Simeon Hall, 4 Feb 1850 The following deed appears in Elbert Co., GA Deed Book AA, page 158: "Georgia, Elbert County) This indenture made this fourth day of February eighteen hundred and fifty between William M. Almond of the one part and Simeon Hall of the other part both of the state and county aforesaid Witnesseth that the said William M. Almond for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and ninety dollars to him in hand paid hath granted bargained sold and conveyed unto the said Simeon Hall his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the state and cou nty aforesaid on the waters of Falling creek adjoining lands of Elizabeth Thompson on the south William B. Nelms on the east the said Simeon Hall on the north and on the west by Joseph Y. Arnold containing one hundred and ten acres more or less to have and to hold said tract of land together with all and singular the rights members and appertainences thereunto belonging or any wise appertaining unto the said Simeon Hall his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple and the said William M. Almond for himself his heirs and assigns doth and will by these presents forever warrant and defend the right and titles of the aforesaid land and premises unto the said Simeon Hall his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whomever.
