Johns...Deed Georgia: Elbert County: This Indenture made this thirteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five between Gabriel Booth and Robert Booth of the State and County aforesaid and John Hanna of the State of Alabama and Lauderdale County of the one part, and John D. Johns of the State and county aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that I Gabriel Booth for the sum of Sixty dollars to me in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents, the same being for claims of Nancy Booth and Joel Faulkner as their rights is vested m? together with my own claim as Legatee of Nathaniel Booth dec'd. And we the said Robert Booth and John Hannah do hereby acknowledge the receipt of twenty dollars to each of us paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents of the same as Legatees of said deceased. And we the said Gabriel Booth, Robert Booth and one John Hanna hath granted bargained sold and conveyed, and do by these presents bargain sell and convey unto the said John D. Johns his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land situate and being the State & County aforesaid lying on Broad River bounded westward by Austin Webb's land. Northward by Thomas Moore's land. Eastwardly by John Booth's land and Southwardly by Samuel Wood's lands containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less Granter unknown. To have & to hold said tract of land unto him the said John D. Johns his heirs and assigns together with all and singular, the rights members and appurtenances there of to the same in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and we the said Gabriel Booth, Robert Booth and John Hanna for ourselves our heirs Executors and Administrators so far as the said title is vested in us as Legatees the said bargained premises unto the said John D. Johns his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and titles so far as titles is vested in us as Legatees of the said Nathaniel Booth.
