Georgia: Elbert County: This indenture made this tenth day of July in 
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty six between 
Nathaniel Booth of the State of Alabama Lauderdale Co of the one part 
and John D. Johns of the State and County aforesaid of the other part. 
Witnesseth that the said Nathaniel hath bargained and conveyed unto the 
said John D. Johns all of his part of a certain tract or Parcel of land 
in the County aforesaid lying on the waters of Broad River containing 
one hundred and sixty seven acres more or less, adjoining Austin Webb 
& Thomas Moore & John Booth & I the said Nathaniel Booth warrant & 
forever defend the right and Title from me and from my heirs and assigns 
forever, and from all other persons to the said John D. Johns and
his heirs so that the said John  shall have peaceable possession forever.  
In witness whereof I have set me hand and affixed my seal the day and 
date above written in presence of

being duly sworn saith that he saw Nathaniel Booth assign the within 
Deed to John D. Johns and that he himself was a Subscribing witness 
to the same..Sworn to before me this 21st day of December 1836.
