Elliott Trustee for Sarah Elliott, his wife Georgia, Elbert County: This Indenture made and entered into this 2nd day of March in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty nine Between Robert N. Booth of said State and of the county of Morgan of the one part and Thomas C. Elliott Trustee for Sarah Elliott his wife of the State aforesaid and County of Elbert of the other part Witnesseth that for and consideration of the sum of five Hundred dollars to me in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and doth by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Thomas C. Elliott Trustee for Sarah Elliott his wife. his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Elbert aforesaid on the waters of Falling Creek beginning at a stone corner west of Falling Creek meeting house Spring branch thence south to a Post oak corner, thence East to a stake corner. Thence south to a Red oak corner thence East to a Gum Corner thence North to a Pine Corner near a drain. Thence down said drain till it unites with the meeting house Spring branch. thence down said branch as it now runs to beginning corner bounded on the east by lands of William Grimes on the South by Elijah Jones, on the West by William Mills lands. it being all that tract or parcel of lands known by the name of the Falling Creek meeting house tract except that portion or part of the same tract which belongs to the meeting house it being about five acres which I do not convey to said Elliott, which contains eighty six acres be the same more of less. And I do further grant bargain sell and convey to the said Thomas C. Elliott trustee for Sarah Elliott his wife her heirs & assigns a certain parcel of land containing two acres more less situate in the county of Elbert aforesaid on the waters of Falling Creek beginning at a black gum corner East one and a half rods to a post oak corner North to a Chestnut Stake on the meeting house road one and a half rods to the line of the land herein before granted to said Elliott thence along said line to the beginning corner bounded on the west lands before described on the east by William Grimes. it being a parcel of land that I do convey to Said T. C. Elliott Trustee for Sarah Elliott the above described parcels of lands with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging to her and her heirs for their own proper use benefits and behoof forever in fee Simple. And the said Robt N. Booth for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Thomas R. Elliott Trustee for Sarah Elliott her heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claims of all other persons whatever.
