Sayer....Deed Georgia; Elbert County: This indenture made this 3d day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & thirty seven Between William W. Bowen of the State & County aforesaid of the one part and Archibald N. Sayer of the said State and County aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William W. Bowen hath for & in consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, hath bargained sold and conveyed unto the said Archibald N. Sayer, and by these presents do bargain sell & convey a certain Lot or parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Elbert and State of Georgia on the waters of Coldwater Creek containing seventy acres more or less adjoining lands of William Bailey & others, which lot of land was set apart by Partition to said William W. Bowen in right of his Wife Ann Bowen, one of the legal heirs representatives of William Banks, late of Elbert County deceased, to him the said Archibald N. Sayer his heirs Executors Administrator & assigns to have & to hold all & singular the rights, members and appurtenances in any wise belonging in fee simple thereunto. And the said William W. Bowen for himself his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns will forever warrant & defend the right and title of the said bargained premises free from the claim of all other persons whatsoever unto the said Archibald N.
