Deed: Benjamin Burch Estate to George Stone 13 Mar 1851 Elbert Co, GA Elbert Co Deeds Book AA Page 234 Benjamin Burch estate to George V. Stone State of Georgia, Elbert County. Whereas Benjamin Burch in his lifetime, to wit, on the 4th (?) day of July 1848 did make and execute to Henry Carlton (?) a penal bond in the sum of one thousand dollars with condition that should he the said Benjamin Burch make or cause to be made to George V Stone good and sufficient titles to the tract of land hereinafter described then said bond to be void and whereas said Benjamin Burch departed this life without making & executing titles as aforesaid and Whereas also the court of ordinary of said county upon proper application & proceedings had died on the sixth day of May Eighteen hundred and fifty pass an order and rule absolute ordering and requiring James Brawner and Mary Ann Burch the Administrators of the estate of said Benjamin Burch Deceased to make and execute titles to the said George V. Stone to the said tract of land according to the tenor and effect of said bond. Now this indenture Witnesseth that the said James Brawner & Mary Ann Burch as Administrators of the estate of Benjamin Burch Deceased in issuance (?) of said order of the court aforesaid do hereby release convey and confirm unto the Said George V. Stone his heirs & assigns forever in Fee simple all that tract or parcel of land in said County whereon the said George V. Stone now lives and did live on the 24th day of July 1848 Containing Ninety two acres and bounded on the south and East according to a plat of Thomas Cook and Granted in 1811 and on the North at the date last aforesaid 1848 by a large crop fence and west by a conditional line and the said James Brawner & Mary Ann Burch as Administrators as aforesaid for themselves & their heirs the said bargained & conveyed land unto the said George V. Stone his heirs & assigns will warrant and forever defend as far as they are by law compelled and required to do as Administrators as aforesaid but no further or otherwise In Witness whereof they have herewith set their hands & seals this Eighteenth day of July Eighteen Hundred and fifty, James Brawner [seal] Mary A.
