Bullard of the County and State aforesaid do for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred dollars above mentioned and the Securing the payment thereof hereby bargain Sell and Convey unto the said James Oliver one negro boy by the name of Joshua and do hereby warrant the right and title of said negro unto the said James Oliver forever, with the condition that if the said William G. Bullard shall well and truly pay (?) to the said James Oliver the sum aforesaid contained in said note together with the interest that shall accrue thereby by the twenty fifth day of December next then this bill of sale to be void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. The said negro Joshua to remain in possession of said William G. Bullard until the twenty fifth day of December next, then the said note is to be paid. In withness whereof the said William G.
