Bullard, Administrator on the Estate of John W. Gunter Junr. late of Elbert County Dec'd. of the one part and Wyatt T. Rayl of the other part both of the State and County aforesaid, Witnesseth that the said Wm. G. Bullard Administrator for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and forty five Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted Bargained sold and conveyed and does by these presents grant Bargain sell and convey unto the said Wyatt T. Rayl his heirs and assigns one half of a certain tract or parcel of land as the real estate of John W. Gunter Junr. Dec'd. which was legally sold agreeable to an order of the Inferior Court on the first Tuesday in January Eighteen Hundred and fifty before the court house doors in Elbert County on a twelve months credit and the said Wyatt T. Rayl being the last and the highest bider for said land situate lying and being in the State and County aforesaid on the waters of Dry Fork a branch of Falling Creek adjoining lands of James Nash, Dec'd. and John Gunter Senr. and others none (known?) as a part of the tract of land purchased by Wm. H. Gunter and John W. Gunter Junr. Dec'd. in copartnership and deeded to them by John Gunter Senr. containing forty six (?) and three fourths acres of land more or less, to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land to him the said Wyatt T. Rayl his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to his and their one proper use benefit and behoof forever In fee Simple And the said Wm. G. Bullard Admins. for said Estate and for the heirs and creditors the said bargained premises unto the said Wyatt T. Rayl his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof and also one half of a certain tract or parcel of land sold with the above named tract of land at the same time and place of the above named land and by the same order of said court containing forty five acres of land be the same more or less, situate lying and being in the state and county aforesaid on the waters of Dry Fork Creek a branch of Falling Creek adjoining lands of the above names lands Abner Turman and David N. Hudson none (known?) as the land whereon Thomas Good lived and deeded to William H. Gunter and John W. Gunter Junr. Dec'd. by John W. Gunter Senr. to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Wyatt T. Rayl his heirs and assigns to have and to hold during the lifetime of Sally Eloitt the wife of Thomas C.
