Calhoun unto Jasper Kinnebrew, both of Elbert County. For and in consideration of the sum of $3000 dollars, did sell and convey all that tract of land and the Ferry thereon, known as the Webb’s Ferry tract with the landing on the south side of Broad River excepting 21 acres on Ceder Creek conveyed lately by the said F.A. Calhoun to Stephen Ham as a plat attached to a deed to James Oliver January 15, 1836 and a deed made by Shelton Oliver to said James Oliver for 17 acres in the deed dated February 2, 1848 containing in all 351 ½ acres, excepting the 21 acres. It is understood between said parties that Alfred Oliver of said county has the right to cross said ferry free of charge, he & his family and carry all and every his produce over the same, agreeable to a reservation made in a deed by him to said F.A. Calhoun April 7, 1853.
