Martin Deadwyler & William Moore 26 Oct 1850 Elbert Co, GA Elbert Co Deeds Book AA Page 250 Martin Deadwyler to William M.Moore Georgia, Elbert County: This Indenture made this 26th day of October Eighteen hundred and fifty between Martin Deadwyler of the county of Madison of the one part and William M Moore of County of Elbert of the other part both of the state of Georgia. Witnesseth that the said Martin Deadwyler for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred dollars, to him in hand paid, the Receipt whereof is herebyacknowledged, hath granted bargained sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said William M. Moore his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated in Elbert County on the waters of Broad River Containing one hundred sixty two acres more or less it being a part or tract of land originally granted to John Forgerson bounded as follows, viz. Beginning at a post oak corner Thence E 20 S 49 C. to Stake, Thence along a tract known by Rennels Tract along said line 27 C to hickory. Thence N 20 W 27 C to a stake. Thence 10 C to a stake. Thence 10 C to a hickory. Thence 10 C to a red oak. Thence N 20 W 10 C to a black oak. Thence to the beginning together with all and singular the rights members And appurtenances thereunto belonging.or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold unto the said William M. Moore his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple And the said Martin Deadwyler for himself his heirs Executors, Administrators The aforesaid bargained land and premises and every part thereof, from all persons claiming.will and doth by these presents, warrant and defend the rights, title of the aforesaid land and premises unto the said William M. Moore his heirs and assigns, In Witness whereof the said Martin Deadwyler hath hereunto set his hand and seal, the day and date above written. Personally came before me Alexander Vaughan who being duly sworn deposeth and saith, that he saw Martin Deadwyler sign seal and deliver, the within deed, for the purposes Therein mentioned and that the deponent subscribed the same as a witness and saw Thos M Wilhite do so likewise.
