Witnesseth, that the said John Depriest hath, for and in consideration of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid by said Thomas Oglesby, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, before the signing and delivery of these presents hath bargained, sold, released, and confirmed, and by these presents doth bargain, sell, release, and confirm unto the said Thomas Oglesby, his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land containing twenty—nine acres and one— half acre situated, lying, and being in said County of Elbert abutting and bounding Northwest by Oglesby’s lands, Southeast, Jone’s and Howell’s lands, and Southwest by Carter’s lands, within the line following. Beginning at a hickory corner, thence South seventy West, thirty—one chains and seventy links to a hickory corner; thence, South twenty-five East, nineteen chains and fifty links to a hickory corner; thence, North thirty—one East, twenty chains to a P. oak corner; thence, South sixty East, one chain to a hickory corner; thence, North forty East, fifteen chains to the beginning corner. Together with all and singular the premises thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining and also all the estate right, title, interest, and demand of said John Depriest of, in, to, or out of the same, to have and to hold the said tract of land with all and singular the premises, appurtenances and rights unto the said Thomas Oglesby, his heirs and assigns forever, in fee simple so that they shall at all times hereafter have honorable possession of the same.
