1796, August 3—Richard Easter & Polly his wife unto John Oliver, all of Elbert 
County. 85 pounds Sterling, ˝ of that tract lying on the Savannah River, a part 
of a tract granted Julius Howard, 300 acres bounded by land of Richard Easter 
(formerly Daniel Shaw), Julius Howard, Martin Sim and Savannah River including 
the Mill (commonly known by the name of Howard’s Mill, he being the original 
builder.
