Page 81.......William Faulkner to the heirs of Pleasant Moon, dec'd.

Georgia, Elbert County			
Know all men by these presents that I William Faulkner Snr. of the 
State and County aforesaid Now for the good will and affection I bear 
to the heirs of Pleasant Moon of the County aforesaid deceased, to wit, 
William H. Moon, James B. Moon, Pleasant Moon, John B. Moon and 
Gabirella Moon give and bequeath all my claim as a joint heir in right 
of my wife Sarah Faulkner formerly Sarah Moon widow and heir of said 
deceased with the other above mentioned Heirs so as not to affect my 
claim or ownership of the said part or interest in said deceased 
Estate during the natural life of my wife the said Sarah Faulkner
formally Sarah Moon, but relinquishing all claim for myself and my 
heirs at the death of my wife the said Sarah unto the other five above 
named heirs to them their heirs and assigns forever and to whichever 
Negroes may fall to my part in right of my wife the said Sarah. I do 
now bequeath unto the said heirs aforesaid with all their Increase 
with whatsoever things else shall be found emanating from said Deceased 
Estate to me as a legacy as a Legacy in right of my wife, the said 
Sarah to have and to hold unto them the said five above named heirs, 
to them and their heirs to be equally divided between them at and
after the death of my wife the said Sarah and not before but to remain 
with her and for her use during her natural life. Now in testimony of 
this my willing Deed of Gift & before these presents I do hereunto set 
my hand and seal this nineth day of December 1833.
