Georgia   State       } This Indenture made this fifth day of December in the 
Year of our lord
Elbert     County     } seventeen Hundred and Ninety Nine between John Brawner 
& Mary Brawner his wife on one part and John Andrew on the other part both of 
the State and County aforesaid  Witnesseth that the aforesaid John Brawner & 
Mary his wife in and for the  consideration of the sum of two hundred and 
fourteen Dollars to him in hand paid before the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged do give grant bargain and sell all that Tract or parcel of land 
being situate in the County aforesaid on the Waters of Falling Creek being that 
on which Robins Andrews now lives, said to contain one hundred & twenty three 
Acres be the same more or Less, butting and having such marks as follow Viz, 
begins at Gum Corner near the ford thence S 35 W to a Branch and down it thence 
to the Creek thence to a Stake on old line thence along the old line S 55 E to 
red oak on a Jarratts line thence N 25 W to Hickory on J. Settles line, then 
back to the Beginning to have and hold said Land an premises together with all 
and singular the Appurtenances thereunto belonging in anywise as Fields, Woods, 
Orchards, Houses and Fences, and every other unto the aforesaid John Andrew his 
heirs or assigns warranting and Defending said Land and premises as aforesaid 
from every claim by him the said John Brawner his Heirs or assigns or any other 
person Whatsoever having given [SMUDGED] Possession thereof renouncing all 
claim thereunto In Witness whereof the said John Brawner & Mary his wife have 
set their Hands and seals the Date above Written
