State of Georgia       } This Indenture made this first day of Aprill in the 
Year of our 
Elbert     County     } Lord Eighteen Hundred and one Between John Andrew & 
Mary Overton, his wife on one part and Abraham Isaac Robarts on the other part 
all of the State & County aforesaid  Showeth, that in Consideration of the Sum 
of Six Hundred Dollars to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged the aforesaid John Andrew & Mary Overton his wife have this day 
Bargained and Sold unto the aforesaid Abraham Isaack Roberts all that Parcell 
of Land, Lying on Falling Creek in Said County containing in two Tracts 
adjoining each other whereon Robins Andrews formerly lived Originally Granted 
to Bazill Brawner, Said to contain Two hundred & fifty Acres, be the Same more 
or Less having all Such Marks Shapes & Line Trees as Laid in a plan herewith 
Given Bounded East by Lands of Isaac Settles, and West by Jefsy Settles, and 
William Settles Senior North by Henry Brawner & South by Archer Jarratt.  
Together with all and Singular the rights & encatuments thereon or thereunto 
belonging as fields Houses Woods &c to have and to hold Said Land and premises 
in fee Simple – Confirming Said land and Premises to him the Said Abraham Isaac 
Robarts his heirs and assigns forever Renouncing all Claim from them the Said 
John Andrew & Mary Overton his wife their heirs & assigns forever In Witness of 
which they have hereunto set their hands and affixed their Seals this day and 
year above written
