1892, January 6—This Indenture made between John H. Grogan unto W.C. Smith and 
Bro, all of Elbert County.  For and in consideration of the sum of $789.08 
dollars, did 
sell , convey and assign one third interest in all that parcel of land lying 
[Beaverdam Cr.]
and adj. J.H. Grogan and S.C. Rucker and containing 32 7/10th acres described 
by reference to a plat of said, hereto attached as a part of this deed.
Recorded July 27, 1892
