Witnesseth that whereas agreeable to an order of the Honorable Inferior court of said County while sitting for ordinary purpose the said Samuel Turman and William Pulliam as Administrators as aforesaid did obtain leave to sell the real estate of the said George Turman deceased, and whereas the said tract or parcel of land hereinafter described, after being duly and publicly advertised according to Law, was by the said Administrators exposed to public outcry at the Court House in said County on Tuesday the second day of October eighteen hundred twenty seven. When the said John Hall being the last and highest bidder for the same, it was knocked off to him at the price or sum of four hundred and one dollars. Nowfor and in consideration of the said sum of four hundred and one dollars to the said Samuel and William as Administrators as aforesaid in hand paid by the said John Hall the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey as Administrators aforesaid, all that tract or parcel of land situate in said County on the Beaverdam Creek containing two hundred and twenty four and three tenths acres adjoining Joseph Pulliam, Haley Butler, Nancy M-----, Violetty Tujrman and others, it being the remainder of the tract of land whereon the said George Turman lived at the time of his death (after laying off the widow's Dower) having such shape form and marks as are fully laid down in a plat of the same hereto annexed. To have and to hold unto the said John Hall his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining that is to say all the right title, interest, property claim and demand in law equity or otherwise of the said George Turman in his lifetime and the said Samuel Turman and William Pulliam as administrators since the death of the said George Turman, by virtue of the power and authority in them as administtrators vested, and the said Samuel Turman, William Pulliam as Admrs. to warrant the right title hereof against themselves as heirs, and the Heirs and Legal representatives of the said George Turman deceased. In Witness Whereof the said Samuel Turman and William Pulliam as Administrators aforesaid both hefreunto set their hands and seals, the day and date first above written.
