Savannah River-Wimbish’s Island

1832, October 15—This Indenture made between James Hunt of South Carolina to 
Singleton W. Allen.  For and in consideration of the sum of $1200 sell & convey 
87 ½ acres on the Savannah River and called and known as Wimbish’s Island lying 
opposite lands of said Singleton on the Georgia side of said river and lands of 
William Spears and Wimbish on the Carolina side.
