1904, January 4--- This Indenture made between T.L. Adams and Mrs. Fannie 
Oglesby, Adm’rs. Of the Estate of Mary J. King (dec.) unto J.W. Norman, all of 
Elbert County.  For and in consideration of the sum of $857 dollars, convey at 
public outcry, 40 acres in the 197th District, G.M. of Elbert County on the 
waters of Beaverdam Creek, adjoining E.B. Norman, James N. Moore & others as 
described on the attached plat made by R.W. Cleveland, Elbert County Surveyor.  
Being lot # 1 of the Malery Place.
Recorded January 4, 1904		[bridge over creek]
