Indenture between James Moon & William Moon 03 Apr 1826 Elbert County, GA Elbert Co Deeds Book AA 1847-1852 Page 58 Georgia, Elbert County: This Indenture made this third day of April the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty six Between James B. Moon of the one part and William H. Moon of the other part both of the State and County aforesaid. (Witnesseth) that the said James B. for and in consideration of Six hundred dollars to him in hand paid (the Receipt of which is hereby acknowledged) hath this day bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell and deliver unto the said William H. Moon all that certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the State and county aforesaid on the waters of Warhatche (?) Creek containing two hundred acres be the same more of less bordered as follows on the North by lands of George Cook, South by James Ham, East by McKinney Irons, West by lands lately deeded to Terry Davis whereon Davis now lives having such shape or marks as we see in a plat of the same and I the said James B. Moon do warrant and forever defend the Right and title of said bargained premises with all and singular the Rights members and Improvements with all things else whatever if thereunto clinging or otherwise thereunto appertaining to him the said William H. Moon his heirs and assign forever to his and their own proper use and benefit and behoof forever against the claim of myself and the claim or claims of all persons whatever. Goode Georgia, Elbert county; Came before me Jonathan Bell, after being duly sworn saith that he was present at the signing and delivery of the above deed of conveyance and was himself at the request of the conveyor a subscribing witness to the same with David Bell & N.
