Moon am held & firmly bound unto Thomas F. Davis in the sum of Five Hundred dollars well & truly to be paid for the true payment of which I do bind myself my heirs assigns Exrs Jointly & severally firm by these presents as witness my hand & seal this fifth day of January one Thousand Eight Hundred & twenty Eight. The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the said James B. hath this day Recd of the said Thomas F. Two Hundred dollars which by Receipt the said Thomas F. in full for all claims that I can or may have in future on the estate of Absolom Davis of Elbert County deceased as one of the heirs of said Davis & that provided the said James B his heirs assigns he should after henceforth or forever after claim & obtain any part thereof it shall be in full force otherwise be of none effect.
