Indenture between Wm. Moon & Terry Davis 02 Dec 1830 Elbert County, GA Elbert Co Deeds Book AA Page 60 William H. Moon to Terry Davis Georgia; Elbert County: This Indenture made this second day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred & Thirty. Between Wm H. Moon of the State & County aforesaid of the one part & Terry Davis of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Wm H hath this day for & in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Terry the Receipt of which is hereby acknowledged bargained & sold & by these presents do grant bargain sell & convey unto the said Terry all that certain tract or parcel of land situate lying & being in the County aforesaid on the waters of Warhatchee Creek whereon the said Wm H. now lives containing two Hundred & one acres the same more of less bounded as follows. on the South by land of James Ham. North by land of George Cook & Zachariah Ozeby, East by said Ham & Ozeby and west by lands of the said Terry Davis, having such shape or marks as are seen in a plat of the same.Which above bargained land & premises with all things thereunto belonging or in any wise thereunto appertaining to the said Wm. H. doth for himself & his heirs forever warrant & defend the right & title unto the said Terry his heirs & assign against the claim or claims of all persons whatever to have & to hold to his the said T erry's & his heirs own use benefit & behoof forever in fee Simple In Testimony whereof the said Wm H. doth hereunto Set his hand & affix his Seal this day & date above written Wm.
