1889, December 27—Potter County Texas--Know all men that I. W.C. Mathews of 
Potter County Texas sell and convey unto Asa J. Haynes of Elbert County a 
certain parcel of land in the 201st Dist. GM on Beaverdam Creek containing 18 
acres joining lands of James W. Haynes and Patsey & Amanda Winn on the South 
and D.A. Mathews and Charles Christian on the East and Patsey & Amanda Winn on 
the North and James Campbell on the West including the Grist Mill with the 
waterpower & better described by the attached plat.  This deed conveys only ˝ 
interest in the 19 acres, other half belongs to W.C. Mathews.
