For and in consideration of the sum of $1200 dollars, did sell & confirm one certain tract of land containing 150 acres, originally granted to William Norris, lying on Cold Water Creek. Beginning at McGowen’s Mills now Wards and Carroll’s Mills, thence down the creek to mouth of branch to Shackelfords’s line, now Oliver’s. thence up said branch with Olivers line and northeast course until it strikes Norris’ line that was now Alexander, thence a northwest corner to a post oak stump, thence N85 W30c to a pine, thence 40W to the creek, thence down said creek to the beginning. Including one half acre on the opposite of the Mill joining the mill dam.
